Personalmente creí que HALO tenía menos tiempo en el mercado pero me llevo la sorpresa de que ya se cumplen 10 años de haber sido lanzado el primer juego “HALO: Combat Evolved”, por lo queMcFarlane Toys “celebra” lanzando una colección de figuras de distintos juegos de la serie a lo largo de este tiempo…
 

"Master Chief"

Esta figura es la que realmente vale la pena ya que en su escultura, a diferencia de mostrar tanto detalle como liberaciones previas,  se trata de apreciar más el diseño de polígonos que es característico en el primer juego.

"Cortana" (Halo 3)

"Arbiter" (Halo 2)
 
 

"Grunt" (Halo 3)

Cada figura incluye una pieza para armar la clásica “Placa de Dificultad” misma que vemos cada vez que iniciamos un juego y nos permite elegir el grado de dificultad en que queremos avanzar.

Esta serie ya está a la venta así que visita a tu proveedor de confianza así como tiendas donde se venden y rentan videojuegos.

Con el último día de Halo Fest 2011 que hoy concluyen pensamos que sería mejor haceruna ronda rápida de todos los anuncios de frío y las imágenes que salieron del evento.La mayoría de los juegos y las imágenes se ve a continuación se han programado para la primavera de 2012 la liberación.
Obviamente, todos están sujetos a cambio y lo que vemos aquí no puede ser lo querealmente sale a principios de 2012.
En primer lugar algunos prototipos que incluso en gris son sorprendentes.

Ok next up are some pics which were grabbed from a youtube video of one of the presentations at Day 2 of Halo Fest (August 27th 2011). We’ve enhanced the images so hopefully you’ll be able to get a good idea of what we can expect come Spring!

New Armory Packs

Looking closely at the pictures, there seems to be a whole array of new weapons and variations coming in the Spring! This is mouth watering!

Flood & Arctic Covenant Drop Pods

Great to see more drop pods, the flood one looks particularly interesting and the release of the covenant shade turrent will be more than welcomed.

Halo Battlescape 2

Great to see another variation of the battlescape, and as per the video the mention of an arctic battlescape sounds like great news for builders and collectors a like.

I think the main gripe with this early picture is that it’s remarkably similar if not identical to the first battlescape minus the green paint job. Let’s hope the final release is more than just a paint job upgrade.

New Unknown Set – Covenant Strike (96916) – Walmart Exclusive

Well if we weren’t spoilt for choice already it seems another mystery set which had escaped everyones radar until now has mysteriously popped up at Walmart.

The Covenant Strike set which costs $30 and is aparently a Wallmart exclusive was spotted and reviewed courtesy of death16bed on our forums. The set comes in at a moderate 207 pieces but does come with 9 mini figures!

Those of you who are starting to see the latest Mega Bloks sets hitting your stores may already have their hands on items like the Covenant Phantom (96941) or the UNSC Elephant (96942) but for those of us who haven’t, well there’s a very detailed and enjoyable video review of the Covenant Phantom by commanderbacara198 here.

Retailing at $79.99 in the US and £79.99 in the UK, this set is not only large at 906 pieces but features 2 white ultra grunts, a white elite pilot and the very cool Covenant Arbiter.

Custom Halo Sets & Figures

With custom figures and builds increasing in popularity we thought we’d showcase some of the recent custom projects posted on our forums.

Not only are these a testament to the growing custom community at spartanbloks.com but it just goes to show how much more you can do with your mega bloks.

Halo Mega Bloks 96931 ODST Ambush Set Review

On another note those of you who who’re collecting the mega blok mystery packs we’ve updated both the Halo Series 3 and Marvel Series 1 codes both yesterday and earlier in the week.

If you’ve still got Series 2 or even Series 1 (gulp) in your area now would be a great time to start grabbing those. They won’t be around for too long.
